Standing Seam Roof Mounting

SataMount RCT secures compatible satellite mounting hardware to raised standing seams without drilling through the roof panels.

Clamp-on system • SataMount RCT

Mount to the seam, not through the panel.

Standing seam roofs need an attachment approach that accounts for the roof profile and panel movement. SataMount RCT uses four RoofClamp RCT clamps with stainless-steel set screws to secure two structural channels to compatible raised seams.

  • No roof-panel penetration for compatible seams
  • Two 27-inch P1000T Defender-finish Unistrut channels
  • Designed for installation with standard hand tools
  • Individual seam compatibility must be verified

Installation considerations

Snow-load precaution: SataMount and satellite dishes are not designed to resist sliding roof snow. Manufacturer guidance calls for installing the assembly within 3 feet of the roof peak or protecting it with an appropriate upslope snow retention system. Follow the complete installation instructions and site-specific engineering requirements.
